Furthermore we offer students a broad spectrum of Spanish cultural themes to complement the language classes.

In your spare time your can discover the many aspects of Granada. On foot from the historical town centre through the picturesque quarters Albacain and Sacromonte and up to the Alhambra you see all the well known scenery: In this town of 250,000 inhabitants, of which 60,000 are students, culture, music, art,  gastronomy and places of interest are all united

In addition to the many foreign visitors and inhabitants, the many students who choose Granada for their Erasmus and Socrates programs, create a multicultural flair which satisfies every taste.

Many of the cultural events of the town, e.g. the music and dance festival (www.granadafestival.org), the tango festival (www.eltango.com) and the filmfestival (www.filmfest-granada.com) enjoy an international reputation- but not only these. Apart from the festivals there is a wide choice of music ranging from flamenco to modern music (www.granada.net/ocio.html).

The surrounding countryside offers many attractions, Granada lying beneath the Sierra Nevada National Park and only 60 km from the Mediterranean coast. Near at hand are very important centres, such as Cordoba, Seville and Malaga and in addition excellent connections to Madrid –an opportunity for weekend excursions after having sampled the atmosphere in Granada.
